Boxy T-Shirts
Boxy T-Shirts: Short and Wide
FAQ
How does a boxy T-Shirt fit?
Wide across the chest and shoulders and slightly shorter than a regular T-shirt. It doesn't cling to the body.
What size should I get in boxy?
The width is already built into the cut. The safest way is to measure a shirt that fits you well and compare it with the size chart. One size up makes the shirt wider, but also a bit longer.
What's the difference between boxy and oversized?
Both are wide. Oversized is also on the long side, boxy is short and square. You'll find the direct comparison, including slim fit, in the article Boxy vs. Oversized vs. Slim Fit.
What do I wear a boxy shirt with?
With wide or straight pants, ideally with a slightly higher waist. A short shirt and wide pants balance each other out, so the proportions work.
What's the difference between boxy and cropped?
Cropped is even shorter than boxy and can show a little stomach on men. Our boxy shirts end slightly higher than a normal shirt, but they aren't cropped. More in the article What does cropped mean?
Which brand makes good boxy T-shirts for men?
Look for heavy fabric first, otherwise the boxy shape collapses. At HUSTLE&PAIN, PRICE OF FAME in faded concrete and FUGITIVE with bleached stripes are cut boxy, both 300 GSM, wide through chest and shoulders and slightly shorter. They are unisex, so they work for men and women.
